How to join

Holders of higher education diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) may apply for the master’s program, and holders of a master’s degree obtained from CAPES-accredited graduate programs may apply for the doctoral program.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Master’s and Doctoral programs will be conducted by the CD-PPGPTBB through a call for applications at specific times and approved by the CD-PPGP-TBB.

The selection test for admission to the master’s and doctoral programs, which is eliminatory and classificatory in nature, will comply with the annual selection process announcement, which will consist of the following stages:
I – The selection process will assess the ability to read and understand texts in English;
II – An oral examination will be conducted on the candidate’s curriculum vitae and memorial, reflecting their scientific and/or professional experience, and on the project to be developed during the master’s or doctoral program at the PPGP-TBB.

Student admission will be subject to:
I – obtaining a minimum final grade of 7 (seven) on the oral exam;
II – passing an English proficiency exam;
III – being available for faculty guidance.
