Following the successful 2024 meeting, organized by UMA-CENABIO, the 2025 LABI meeting was held at the University of Buenos Aires.
Between November 9th and 12th, researchers affiliated with Multi-User Bioimaging Centers in Latin America discussed success stories and challenges in their management and networking.
Present were Dr. Kildare Miranda, former director of UMA and former vice-director of CENABIO, current president of LABI, and professors Márcia Attias and Moara Lemos, from UMA, as well as professors Emiliano Medei and Fernanda Tovar-Moll from UIPA.
During the meeting, several ideas for cooperation were raised and are under development. The next LABI meeting is scheduled to take place in Panama City in 2026.
