Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting

The Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting platform, located on the first floor of the UIPA building, aims to provide high-level technical and scientific support in this technique, withe the goal of achieving high-quality results.

Technical specifications

Conventional flow cytometer, equipped with 488 nm (blue) laser, 633 nm (red) laser and 405 nm (violet) laser. Multiparametric analysis of up to 11 periods simultaneously is possible, in addition to performing cell sorting in single cell format (on plates) and a maximum of 4 periods simultaneously.

Technical specifications

Spectral flow cytometer, equipped with 349nm laser (ultra violet), 405nm laser (violet), 488nm laser (blue), 561 laser (yellow-green), 633nm laser (red). It is possible to perform multiparametric analysis of up to 78 parameters simultaneously, in addition to performing cell sorting in single cell format (in plates) and of a maximum of 6 populations simultaneously. In addition, it has cell view technology that allows evaluation through images of up to 3 parameters (all 488nm laser).
