Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Small Animals

The Small Animal Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Platform, located on the ground floor of the UIPA building, features state-of-the-art multimodal imaging equipment integrated PET/MRI (7 Tesla) for small animals from Bruker, combining the advantages of high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging with the molecular sensitivity of positron emission tomography. This platform allows the establishment of high-resolution anatomical image acquisition protocols with the molecular sensitivity of positron emission tomography, enabling non-invasive studies of anatomy, function and pathologies in experimental models, as well as advanced translational investigations.
