Ultrasound Imaging

The Ultrasound Platform at CENABIO, located on the first floor of the UIPA building, aims to provide high-level technical and scientific support to researchers interested in the technique. In addition, we assist researchers in establishing protocols and offer training for students, administrative staff, and faculty members. Please feel free to contact us.

Technical Specifications:

VisualSonics – Vevo 2100

  • Multi-element technology
  • Dynamic focusing
  • Functional system for small animals (rats, mice, guinea pigs, and others)
  • Adaptable system for guided injection

Acquisition/Analysis Packages:

B-Mode
M-Mode
Color Doppler
Power Doppler
Simpson’s Analysis
Strain Analysis
