The Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting platform, located on the first floor of the UIPA building, aims to provide high-level technical and scientific support in this technique, aiming high-quality results.
The Multiuser Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility has a BD FACSAriaTM IIu cytometer equipped with 3 lasers (488nm, 633nm, 405nm) that are able to evaluate up to 11 parameters simultaneously, in addition, presenting a high-purity sterile cell sorting system, being possible sorting up to 4 populations of interest simultaneously, into tubes or plates in mode single cell or bulk.
