Provide reference infrastructure in advanced microscopy for Brazilian and international science, responding to the demands of academia and the productive sector, through the implementation and development of new technologies based on the qualification of personnel, the acquisition of cutting-edge equipment and the development of innovations instrumental and methodological.

To be recognized as a reference biological microscopy center in Latin America, providing methodological solutions to problems in biological microscopy for the scientific community and the productive sector.

Quality policy
The Quality Policy is in line with the organization’s purpose of providing high-tech and high-performance equipment and services to the academic and scientific and production communities, in order to comply with the legal and statutory requirements of ISO 9001:2015. The Quality Policy aims at the continuous improvement and effectiveness of its Quality Management System to satisfy its customers/users, reflecting the commitment of the Board of CENABIO-UMA and other employees of CENABIO-UMA. Good professional practices will be adopted and encouraged, the quality of services provided, professionalism in the service process, staff training, especially technologists, care with safety and health at work, with environmental aspects, internal communication, feedback from customers/users, critical analysis of processes, reflected in the strategic planning for defining the organization’s objectives and goals.
CENABIO-UMA has a committed team and mechanisms to guarantee permanent critical analysis of the management in relation to the Quality objectives.
It also seeks to establish multi-institutional partnerships, aiming to fulfill CENABIO-UMA’s objectives in relation to its QMS, Mission and Vision of the Future.
