Professional Postgraduate Program student wins international competition

This image of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, vector of the dengue virus and Zika Virus, was the winner in the Scanning Electron Microscopy category in the company’s annual JEOL competition. Called “Infectious Look”, the image was obtained and edited by Jander Matos, biotechnologist at the  University of the State of Amazonas and doctoral student at the  Professional Postgraduate Course in Bioimaging and Biostructure Technologies (PPGP-TBB), together with Joaquim Nascimento on the JSM-IT500HR Scanning Microscope.
