Structural Biology Unit

National Center of Macromolecular Nuclar Magnetic Resonance (CNRMN)

The Structural Biology Unit (UBE) of CENABIO/UFRJ is, at the same time, the Jiri Jonas National Center for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, preserving the functional legacy of this Research Center since 1998. We have 400, 500, 600, 700 spectrometers, 800 and 900 MHz, equipped with a four-channel system for multidimensional multinuclear analysis, inverse triple resonance probes and cryoprobe, which enables studies of protein structure and transmission dynamics with biological conversion, protein folding, structure of nucleic receptors and their complex with proteins, polysaccharides, among others.
